Chingo Del Santo

Chingo Del Santo

Other Titles Held:
TnT Tag Team Titles (with JC Bravo), TWA Tag Team Titles (with JC Bravo)

Notable Feuds and Alliances: (In his own words) Feuding with the Submission Squad was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I suffered injuries that I am still dealing with to this day. I did learn a lot from them though. I still can’t stand them but I do respect them. Put me in the ring with them again and I will make sure I’m one step ahead of them.

Personal History: (In his own words) I got into this business not wanting to be a wrestler nor a referee. All I wanted to do was set up the ring and watch the show for free, but other wrestlers would practice their moves with me and all of a sudden I got interested. Ever since then, I have been having the time of my life. Being in the ring with the guy I used to sit in the front row (JC Bravo) and wrestling with or against the ones I used to cheer and boo has been an honor especially with Jerry Lynn because I did not expect to wrestle him that early in my career.

Fast forward to now. I am on a mission to whoop… I mean fight for my life like I’m back on the front lines in the Middle East. Prepare for the worst because it will be my best.

Other Titles Held: Attack ‘n’ Destroy Wrestling Cruiserweight Champ, TNT Tag Team Champion (with Chingo), TWA Tag Team Champ (with Chingo)

Notable Feuds and Alliances: (In his own words) In 2010 the war between Smurf Nation and the Submission Squad was epic. Smurf Nation chasing the champs over half a year. We had the first ever ACW tag team Texas bull rope match and St Louis vs. Texas flag match. Finally ending when the Nation was able to beat the Squad in a Submission match. Now going into 2011 the Nation is no more when long-time team member Berry Breeze was forced out the group and turned on his friends.

Personal History: (In his own words) At the first ACW show i was sitting front row and never missed a show. Till one day, I, a drunken fan ask to help after a show. I continued to do ring crew till the ACW Dojo first open. Lead by head trainer Jacob Ladder and help from many others, myself and Chingo were the first graduates and true home-grown talent out the school. By my 2nd match I was tag team champion as Black Rocker. Still at the same time refining matches till I unmask and become JC Bravo. Than by a weird chance and a Chikara message broad Berry Breeze and I formed Team Smurf. Later with Chingo and Angel Blue we grew into the Smurf Nation. Biggest Match for the Nation put all four Smurfs against at that time the ROH champ Jerry Lynn w/ Showtime Summers for the ACW Tag team belts. The Nation has now come down to two. As we see what the Legion of Shroom has in store. In short, 4 years later I’m a 4 time champ and going strong.

Notable Feuds and Alliances:
(In his own words) Two relationships have predominated my ACW tenure.

My long-time friendship with tag-team partner and fellow Full House member Matthew Palmer turned sour when he became the #1 Contender to my Monarchy Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Championship and showed his true colors by trying to take my birthright from me. Friend indeed. What was sour turned rotten when he doused me in gasoline and attempted to light me on fire at Guilty By Association V, unfortunately succeeding in his quest to dethrone me.

The other is a more… complicated relationship with Portia Perez. Together, as Perevans, we were the reigning King and Queen of ACW: She the Joshi Champion and I the Heavyweight. Some would say that turned sour, as well. I say they have not seen anything, yet…

Personal History: (In his own words) As a long-time Texas standout, the Office of Anarchy had been aware of me for years but wanted nothing to do with me out of fear. They knew that I was the antithesis of anarchy… and they were right. My very first day in ACW, I kicked down the door and demanded a main event spot. By my second outing, I had faced the man who had tried to keep me out of ACW and taken his U-30 Championship. I went on to become the most dominant U-30 Champion of all-time and, though I eventually lost it to ACH, realized there was greater purpose at play. My rise in ACW had been quick for a reason. I had been placed there by Divine Right, tasked to topple anarchy and replace it with Monarchy. I would do so by winning the ACW Heavyweight Championship and anointing myself King.

The peasants were shocked when I made Scot Summers tap-out but I was not. Destiny had been fulfilled. 1,000 Days of Glory was the promise of my reign… yet it was cut short when my turncoat best friend made me say, “I quit.” Worse yet, the girl I loved Superkicked me for confessing my love. It appeared not to be destiny, after all, but delusion. Right?

Sometimes, even I do not fully understand my own providence. But I assure you, Dear Reader, my ACW story has only begun. There are still many days left to be fulfilled of those 1,000 Days of Glory….
